In 2004, Mike Theriault founded B2B Industrial Packaging, creating what is now one of the most highly respected packaging supply and equipment distributors and the largest strapping distributor in the U.S.
Theriault has a long history in industrial supplies and equipment. In 1978, he founded Dartek Computer Supply, overseeing its phenomenal success; selling the company to Systemax; then staying on as Systemax's vice president of operations & technology. While there, Theriault opened the company's first retail store and was responsible for all warehouses in Systemax's computer subsidiaries - Dartek, Global Computer Supplies, and TigerDirect.
Many companies say the client is first, but under Theriault's leadership, B2B Industrial Packaging demonstrates best practice client service in every department - from sales to support to accounting. Theriault doesn't believe in systematically referring clients and prospects to the company's website for help - his philosophy will always be that people do business with people.
Theriault and B2B Industrial plan to support the still developing Voice of Hope Youth Center and Ranch in West Chicago, Illinois. The organization will provide a safe, nurturing environment to equip disadvantaged youth with the education and opportunities they need for a successful life.
Theriault, an avid golfer and former marathon runner, has been active in church leadership activities for many years.
